Material Preparation: Cut, Grind, Bevel, And Deburr Metal Parts Using Portable Power Tools (E.G., Grinders, Buffers) So They Are Ready For Assembly And Welding.Assembly Assistance: Hold, Position, Align, And Secure Heavy Metal Components Using Clamps, Magnets, Or Tack Welds According To Blueprints.Tool & Equipment Management: Organize And Supply Welding Rods, Hoses, And Gas Cylinders To The Welders. Set Up Welding Machines, Leads, And Rigging Between Different Work Areas.Weld Finishing: Clean, Brush, And Polish Finished Welds To Remove Slag, Rust, And Splatters.Safety & Site Maintenance: Actively Monitor For Fire And Safety Hazards. Maintain A Clean, Safe Workspace, Which Includes Loading/Unloading Delivery Trucks And Organizing Stock.
