Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between sales executive and BDE offer letters?+

BDE offers focus on new client acquisition, proposals and relationship building, while sales executives often handle territory-based selling.

Can a BDE offer include a non-compete?+

Post-employment non-competes are generally hard to enforce in India; a confidentiality and non-solicitation clause is the safer approach.

Should a business development executive offer letter be on letterhead?+

Yes. Issue it on company letterhead signed by an authorised signatory, so the business development executive candidate and any future employer can rely on it.
