Frequently asked questions

Why add a conflict of interest clause for purchase roles?+

Purchase staff influence vendor selection; declaring relationships and refusing gifts protects integrity.

Should approval limits be in the offer?+

Reference the company's delegation-of-authority policy rather than listing numbers.

Should a purchase executive offer letter be on letterhead?+

Yes. Issue it on company letterhead signed by an authorised signatory, so the purchase executive candidate and any future employer can rely on it.
