1. Welcome and Purpose

Welcome to [Company Name]. This handbook explains how we work and what we expect from each other. It applies to all employees on our rolls in India, including those deployed at client locations. Where a detailed policy exists, that policy will prevail.

2. Working Hours, Shifts and Hybrid Work

  • Standard working hours are [Number] hours a day, [Number] days a week, with core collaboration hours of [Timing].
  • Project teams supporting global clients may work in shifts; shift allowance and transport are provided as per the Shift Policy.

3. Leave and Holidays

5. Information Security and Acceptable Use

  1. Company laptops and accounts are for business use and are monitored as per policy.
  2. Use only approved software, repositories, cloud services and AI tools; never upload client code or data to unapproved tools.
  3. Lock screens when away, use multi-factor authentication and report phishing or security incidents immediately to [Security Email].
  4. Do not use personal USB drives or email to transfer company or client information.

6. Confidentiality, IP and Outside Work

All work created in the course of employment belongs to the company. Client and company information must be kept confidential during and after employment. Outside employment or freelance work requires prior written approval.

7. Client Deployment and Travel

Employees may be deployed at client sites in India or abroad. At client sites, employees follow both company and client rules on security, conduct and attendance. Travel and stay are governed by the Travel Policy.

8. Code of Conduct, POSH and Grievances

We expect honesty, respect and professionalism. Harassment and discrimination are not tolerated. Our Internal Committee under the POSH Act 2013 handles complaints of sexual harassment at [IC Email]. Other grievances may be raised with your manager, HR or [Grievance Email].

9. Disciplinary Process

Misconduct will be addressed through a fair process: facts are gathered, the employee is heard, and action is proportionate, as per the Disciplinary Policy.

10. Separation

Employees resign through the HRMS and serve the notice period in their appointment letter. Exit includes knowledge transfer, asset return and access revocation, followed by full and final settlement and relieving documents.

11. Review

HR reviews this handbook every year. Changes will be communicated by email and on the intranet.
