Frequently asked questions

Is night shift allowance mandatory in BPO?+

It depends on company policy and applicable state rules, but most BPOs pay a night shift allowance for shifts in late hours. State the amount and eligibility clearly in the offer.

Can women work night shifts in a BPO?+

Many states permit it subject to conditions such as consent, safe transport and security. Check your state's Shops and Establishments rules and mention the safety arrangements.

What happens if a BPO trainee fails certification?+

The offer should state the outcome, for example one re-certification attempt or reassignment to another process. Be fair and documented rather than ending employment abruptly.
