Frequently asked questions

Can an e-commerce company restrict leave during sale events?+

Yes, a reasonable leave blackout during major sale events is common if stated in the offer or policy, with compensatory off provided afterwards.

Why do e-commerce offer letters include seller conflict clauses?+

Category and catalogue staff influence listings, pricing and visibility. A conflict clause prevents gifts, kickbacks or personal stakes in seller businesses.

How should customer data be protected by employees?+

Employees should access customer data only for their work, never export or share it, and follow the company's data protection and access policies.
